Pitchers Duels the Norm Friday night

Both games on the schedule last night turned out to be great pitchers duels


In Brantford, the visiting London Majors downed the Red Sox 2-0.

Andy St. Gelais scattered two hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking five. Josh Palmer got the save, allowing one hit and two walks.

Marc-Andre Major started for the Red Sox allowing just one hit over six innings. Steve Murray took the loss, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits in 1 1/3 innings.


In Hamilton Kitchener defeated Hamilton 2-0

Tyler Wilson fanned 10 Thunderbirds over 8 innings out dueling David Huscko for the win.

Derek Sinko picked up the save in the ninth.
